IoT adoption is accelerating

The IoT is becoming increasingly established. Think of smart energy management , monitoring EV charging stations and smart logistics . We also see innovative applications in healthcare, such as real-time patient monitoring. Several factors stimulate the further adoption of the IoT:

● Legislation and regulation : the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD ), for example, requires companies to report on their impact on people and the environment. But then you have to know what that impact is. Measuring is knowing. More and more IoT devices such as smart CO2 meters are being used for that measuring.

● Staff shortages : Implementing IoT solutions and digitizing processes is a way for companies to work more efficiently. With this efficiency improvement, companies can continue to meet customer demand in times of staff shortages.

● Technology : technologies such as embedded SIM (e-SIM) and AI simplify processes and add value to the Internet of Things. In doing so, they stimulate further adoption of IoT and enable companies to optimize costs, for example.
